Designed for Public Spaces
Using Infrared Multi-Touch technology makes these displays ideal for public locations as a finger, gloved hand, pen or stylus can be used as a pointer. Activating the touch function requires no pressure and therefore incurs less damage over time. Infrared touch screens do not require any glass patterning – unlike capacitive touch screens, improving optical clarity and increasing durability dramatically.
Simple Connectivity
Our Infrared Multi-Touch Screen Displays can run off any Windows based PC; simply connect a video signal (via VGA or HDMI) and USB for the touch functionality. The screen will then serve as your computer monitor and the touch functionality controls the cursor, essentially acting as your mouse. You can then navigate your desktop, a website or software application with your fingertips. Our Touch Screen Displays also support Multi-Touch functionality, allowing you to manipulate images, zoom in an out as well as perform many other touch gestures; much like you would with a smart-phone.
Smart Temperature Control System
This allows the display to be in constant use. Internal fans ensure a long and reliable life for your Touch Screen; you can even control the temperature range for which the fans are active.
Internal Locker
As you need to run the Touch Screen from an external source, there is space to fit a small PC or media player inside the lockable compartment, where the necessary AV and USB connections can be made. AV inputs include VGA, HDMI, DVI, YPbPr, Video IN and RGB/HV.
Power Timing
The eco-friendly power timer allows you to assign daily or weekly on and off times for your display. The ability to power on and off automatically means that the kiosk is only in use when it needs to be; improving your environmental efficiency.
